I have always related the aesthetic and morphological preference that we can have towards some animal species as a reflection of our own personality.

"Transmutation" collection narrates the personality of 6 women who are members of my family.

“Essence” integrates the magic of mysticism, spirituality and cultural identity that my indigenous ancestors brought into the world with the inclusion of diverse techniques from different parts of the globe. My work shows how a piece that is still so representative of a country or a place can be viewed under different lenses and keep its essence.

I want to make us aware of how elements in nature surround us and how close we interact with them every day even if we don't realize it. I hope that if we remind ourselves that we are all connected in this planet we will care more about it and we will make better decisions to preserve what it brings us life.
